At MIJ Exhaust, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch exhaust systems, but there’s more to us than just pipes and mufflers. When we’re not busy transforming cars, we’re putting our creative minds to work on some pretty interesting side projects. After all, who said a team that can build a custom exhaust from scratch can’t also craft some awesome furniture?
Our team is nothing short of amazing. From the meticulous hands of our technicians to the friendly voices of our sales administrators and receptionist, everyone here is hands-on and reliable. We wouldn’t be MIJ without them—though we wouldn’t want to jinx it by saying how fantastic they are too loudly!
Now, about that project… This time, we turned our attention to something completely different—round coffee tables. But, as you might have guessed, these aren’t your average coffee tables. We made them using alloy wheels! Yes, you read that right. We’ve taken upcycling to a whole new level.
The idea was sparked by Fozy, our very own creative mind. She had some alloy wheels lying around from her old Nissan, and instead of letting them collect dust, she thought, “Why not turn these into tables?” Brilliant, right? She was inspired by seeing a wheel table that was already in our reception area.
Next up, we had Zed—the glue that holds our team together. Zed’s an expert at making things work, whether it’s keeping the team running smoothly or finding the perfect base for a new piece of furniture. She upcycled some old, unused chair stands we had in the workshop, making sure they were sturdy enough to support the new table tops.
Our talented technicians stepped in to align the holes and do what they do best—working their magic to bring everything together seamlessly. Honestly, they could probably weld dreams into reality if they tried!
With the stands ready, Fozy ordered the table tops to complete the look. We haven’t even removed the protective film off the tops yet, but they’re already looking spectacular! The tables are a perfect blend of style, creativity, and the kind of ingenuity that only the MIJ team could pull off.
It was a true combined effort. Every piece of these tables was something we already had lying around, just waiting to be transformed. We’re not just exhaust experts—we’re a team that thrives on creativity, collaboration, and, most importantly, having a bit of fun along the way.
