Exhaust brackets, hangers and rubber mounts are also known as exhaust supports. They are used to support and hang the exhaust to the underside of the vehicle.
Some Mounts are made from Rubber. These rubbers are durable and long lasting, designed to absorb vibrations and shocks from the engine and exhaust system, providing a bit of flex to the system therefore preventing the exhaust from being damaged.
